Gifts that Advance the Pro-Life, Pro Adoption Cause

All non-directed gifts given to the general fund will be utilized to advance the Foundation's participation in this vital cause. The gifts will be applied to the most pressing needs as they develop each month.

Gifts that Create a Information Resource Clearinghouse.

We need 10,000 families that will donate a minimum gift of $100 to create and maintain a national resource database of resources available to expectant mothers, counselors, and prospective adoptive parents. This must be done immediately.

It is a massive and expensive undertaking that, when complete, will make a daily difference in the decisions that are made about birth or abortion. This database will feature in one site all known legitimate resources available to promote birth and encourage adoption. It will provide a clearinghouse for Catholic Resources, Christian Resources, and non-religious resources. For the first time an expectant mother could find in one place access to all national and local resources available to assist her; through her decision to allow birth, access to counselors, medical practitioners, financial resources, legal resources, prospective adoptive parents, and most importantly: Hope that her life could be a better experience for allowing birth to occur. Impossible only a few years ago, this resource is absolutely necessary, and able to be built and maintained.

Think of what it would mean to a young frightened expectant mother to learn that there are resources available to her, both locally and nationally. Think what it would mean to know that your life could be a better experience for choosing birth over abortion. Think what it would mean for young people that are not capable of being a counselor, but are frequently the first to know of a friend's pregnancy, to walk their pregnant friends through the website, demonstrating that loving help and a hopeful future are only a few clicks away. Think of what it would mean for everyone in a local community to be well informed as to who is providing which services. Think of the cost savings associated with the current duplication and overlap experienced by the right hand not really knowing what the left hand is doing.

This is a must do idea whose time has come. No one should bear all the cost. If only 10,000 families donate $100 this site will be built and maintained through its first full year of operation.

Gifts that educate

We are committed to underwriting an alternative educational curriculum that could be utilized in public and private school settings as a wholesome preventative measure. The opposition pro-choice agenda has been very aggressive at providing curriculum that delivers education and their philosophy. We would doubt that many people are aware that much of the sex education curriculum taught in middle schools and high schools is taught by individuals sympathetic with the pro-choice movement, with curriculum reflecting this philosophy.

We must respond with a credible curriculum alternative. It must be first class. It must be authored by national authorities. It must be admissible in a public school curriculum structure. It must be done immediately. Needed $250,000 to launch the first phase. Gifts in any amount are appreciated and desperately needed. Every school semester that passes without a viable alternative to the current offerings virtually guarantees that young expectant mothers will only consider the options they have heard. Once the curriculum is finished, we will launch phase II to begin recruiting educators to teach, and soliciting both permission and funding for access to the public and private schools.

Gifts that encourage birth

Your donation of $250 will allow YCVF to provide a Four Dimensional DVD Movie of a child in the womb to an expectant mother. Studies have demonstrated that an expectant mother that sees the child being formed within her, moving, responding and growing in live animation connects with the reality of the presence of an actual child.

The older technology provided a "negative" type picture that sometimes would clearly show a child, and other times no so clearly delineate a child. This technology clearly shows the developing child in dimensional moving study, and the result is placed on a DVD that the expectant mother, and those that advise her can see over and over again.

YCVF would like to be able to offer to pay for this service for any expectant mother that would ask. If you cannot afford to pay for an entire 4DDVD, make a donation that can be joined with other gifts. This DVD experience is making a difference.

Gifts that support expectant mothers

Many frightened expectant mothers are already under financial pressure. Many times the decision to abort is framed within limited financial resources required for pre-natal care. If you would like to assist with paying these types of expenses, you may do so by donating for this specific purpose.

These funds are released to exemplary ministries with a demonstrated track record of worthy work and efficient operation that interface with the expectant mother and her health care professionals.

Gifts that support the birth event

There are many public and private financial and medical resources available to assist with the actual birth of a child. However, there are always many items that are not covered by these programs. A ready resource fund that can assist with uncovered and unpaid items provides an expectant mother with the peace of mind that she will not exit the birth experience with unmanageable debt.

These funds are released to exemplary ministries with a demonstrated track record of worthy work and efficient operation that interface with the expectant mother.

Gifts that encourage adoption. Gifts that alert supporters of a culture of life to issues and events, and Gifts that sustain communication about Abortion and Adoption.

Someone should take responsibility to create resources that encourage adoption, provide a network of supporters of life that allow them to communicate and educate one another, and have a home page dedicated to these vital issues.

Your Catholic Voice Foundation is sponsoring a web site to facilitate these worthy goals. We are looking for 2200 individuals and ministries to help underwrite the sponsorship of such a site. Your donation of $25 or more will be pooled with other gifts to promote this site. Once created many links will be added to facilitate these objectives.

Gifts that change and improve our approach to the entire Abortion Issue

The founders of Your Catholic Voice Foundation and many advisors to the foundation are committing to a very bold initiative to address the entire issue of Abortion. It is our collective conviction that, in spite of many wonderful ministries, counseling centers, and varied approaches currently in use to address abortion, we are having a minimal impact.

We are pulling together a special group of advisors and friends to sponsor a task force to create a local expression of an abortion intervention model. The purpose of this model will be to blend the successes of the past with the technology and resources of the present in a "business model" that may be duplicated in any community in America.

It is a well know fact that Franchise operations are more successful in business than typical business start ups. A successful franchise has four attributes:

1. It fills a market niche and meets a need.
2. It utilizes proven systems, offerings, and services.
3. It utilizes standardized training formats to achieve a uniform result.
4. It utilizes the expertise of those that have been successful to continually coach new start ups.

It occurs to us, that if these principles are important in business, how much more important are they for the life and death issues facing unborn children. To this end, the Foundation is seeking 100 Donor/Advisors that will commit $5000 to create, test, adjust, perfect, document and operate this model. Once the model is perfected, the Foundation will make the model available to all groups to facilitate their heart felt desires locally.
