Hello dear Oremus Family!

How wonderful it is that we have been called to be prayer warriors!
How wonderful it is that we have been called to be family.
Together, one in heart, praying, bringing to the Most High the most pressing needs of our time, but more than that, our love.

But are we ready? Am I ready?

No, friends, I am unworthy.
I am unclean.
I must prepare.
We must prepare, like soldiers getting ready for battle.

A long time ago, the Lord gave to me these words,
"Do not be troubled. Keep your heart simple. Make it like a secret garden for Me."

The words surprised me! I think about them everyday, though. To keep a simple, untroubled heart, a beautiful secret. HOW??? How to be a garden of love, for Him?

The only thing that makes sense is to return with an open heart to the Sacraments, most especially Penance. With an open heart, say I am sorry. Forgive me, please.
Change, convert.

Return to Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. Return to the Rosary. Pray with the heart. Read Holy Scriptures. Realize that we are set apart, and that the way we live must reflect that. We must be generous beyond compare with our lives, our hearts and with our wallets, following Him.
Acting like fools. It's the only sensible thing to do.

Weed that heart of yours as I weed mine. Let's pull out all the bad and leave only light and good, making it beautiful, for Him. Then we will be ready, together. Then we will, with pure hearts, love Him, and in the confidence of the beloved, ask Him, please, for the impossible.
We will see miracles. We will live in a flood of grace. It's all because of Him.
He is, so good. He loves us and wants us as His very own.
