Oremus! Let us pray!

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

You died for us, Innocent Jesus.
Innocent babies die by abortion,
Your Passion re-lived.

Jesus!
Because the Supreme Court Justices made an evil ruling,
Legalizing abortion,
And because the people are deceived,
Our land is desecrated, defiled.
Our land is filled with bloodshed.
Forgive us!
Jesus!
We are unworthy, guilty

Help us to start anew.
Help us to elect leaders who will defend life,
Leaders who will protect our young, our own.
Help us, please,
So that this evil ruling will be no more,
So that abortion will end.

We proclaim a fast,
All of us!
The day has come
To return to You

fasting,
weeping
mourning.

We return to You, this very day.
And in returning to You,
We will work to make our country a place where every life is treasured.
We will work to make the National Elections go according to Your Way.
According to the Ten Commandments.

Help us! Guide us! Send Your Spirit to illuminate our hearts,
So that we will be inspired to do Your Holy Will.
Thank You, Jesus. We love You, Jesus.
